Residence Orchestra

Vienna Residence Orchestra (WRO) presents the Vienna Classic Concerts to honor classical music in Vienna.

Johann Strauss and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s compositions dominate the performances. But they will be joined by other well-known Viennese Classicist composers and composers with ties to Vienna. These composers include many more, including as Franz Schubert, Ludwig van Beethoven, Johannes Brahms, and Antonio Vivaldi.

The orchestra currently gives performances in the baroque Palais Auersperg, close to the Vienna Stock Exchange, and other old palaces in the center of Vienna.

There, a group from our musical family will go with you through Vienna and the history of its composers, playing some of their most significant pieces.
