VIENNA HOFBURG ORCHESTRA

The Vienna Hofburg Orchestra performs well-known Johann and Josef Strauss compositions, vivacious operas and operettas, and duets by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Emmerich Kálmán, and Franz Lehár from May through October. Internationally famous opera singers and ballet soloists from Vienna’s well-known opera theaters are accompanied by the orchestra.

The Mozart Hall of the Konzerthaus Vienna and the Ceremonial Hall (Zeremoniensaal) of the Vienna Hofburg Imperial Palace are the usual locations for the concerts.
